Your SaaS has to make sense to people who didn’t build it. We design around what customers come to do without burying the capabilities that make your product valuable. When you need development too, our engineers build the experience our designers shaped.
Hire usIf you are creating a SaaS, bring the idea, brief, or prototype you have. We can design the first experience while the product itself is still taking shape. If your product is already live, show us the workflow that needs attention. TelQ brought us an SMS platform where users struggled with complex data tables and multiple filters. You can ask us to focus on a product area without putting every screen up for redesign.
A SaaS interface changes with permissions, empty data and failed actions. Our SaaS design services cover the screens and states those situations create. A UI kit can support one product; a full Design System makes sense when several teams need shared rules. Merge can also build the front end or full application and connect the systems it relies on. We also offer SaaS website design separately from product design or redesign, including a sitemap and responsive page designs.
Financial-planning products can hide forecasting tools from people without a finance background. We organize navigation around the decision at hand so users can find the right feature when they need it.
Healthtech research tools bring a hypothesis, supporting data and AI-generated insights into one place. We design the navigation and visualizations that help biologists move between them without losing the question they're testing.
The first useful moment in language learning is a conversation. We connect onboarding to group chats and live events so new members can start practicing before they have to learn the whole platform.
Creators comparing a multistreaming product need to understand its plans before they sign up. We design pricing, signup and login as a connected route into the account, with the product's offer clear along the way.
Security teams need to recognize an AI assistant as part of the product they already use. We design its identity and in-product interaction concepts together, so the feature has a clear place in the access workflow.
Administrators and end users work with different settings in a hosting-management platform. We organize the interface around those roles so each group can reach the controls relevant to its work.
You see the key product decisions before they become a finished interface. We agree on the work, get your approval on the direction, then review the design as it expands.
1
Set the scope
Share your requirements, current product materials and known dependencies. Together we decide what this engagement covers, who reviews the work and what remains outside it. If your SaaS is already live, test access lets us see the experience your users have today.
2
Approve the direction
We work through the agreed interaction or page structure and develop a representative screen or page. You review the UX and visual direction before we expand the design, so your team can catch a wrong assumption before it shapes the rest of the interface.
3
Design in batches
We develop the agreed screens, states and components in reviewable batches. At the checkpoints set for your project, you give feedback; we update related flows or components when that feedback affects them. You approve each batch before we call it complete.
4
Build or hand off
If Merge owns development, our engineers implement the agreed front-end or full-stack scope. If your team builds it, we deliver editable Figma files, approved screens and states, components, assets and interaction notes, then walk the receiving developers through the handoff.
Our SaaS design and development work includes building Agentless’s home-buying platform and targeted interface redesigns for Capable and TelQ. Find the case closest to your product challenge and see what we delivered.
Agentless
Agentless is a real estate SaaS platform for U.S. homebuyers who want to purchase without a buyer’s agent. It gives them one online place to work with property details, prepare offers and agreements, and review inspection reports as the purchase progresses. Product challenge Before committing to the build, we had to establish how the platform would obtain property data and account for purchase-document requirements that vary by state. The buyer journey also needed to remain understandable without an agent. Our contribution We investigated technical feasibility, mapped the buyer journey in wireframes, designed the UI, and built the front end and backend. We integrated AI to organise property information and summarise inspection reports. Delivered We delivered a live web platform with purchase-document flows that account for the buyer’s state and AI-assisted inspection summaries. We also created the Agentless brand and a separate Webflow site with a savings calculator.
A data-heavy SaaS can become easier to navigate without burying the controls experienced users rely on. We work through roles, information hierarchy, and relevant edge states, so the redesign clarifies the job without flattening the product.
A focused SaaS flow may need a UI kit; a larger product with several contributors may need a documented Design System. We scope components and usage rules to the product, so you’re not buying a full system you don’t need.
Our designers and engineers work through interface behavior together when we build the product. If your team implements the design, we document the agreed states and interactions so your developers aren’t left to infer them from static screens.
You keep control of the roadmap as we work with you within the agreed scope. We define responsibilities for both sides in the proposal so you can see where our design work fits and which product decisions remain yours.
Your estimate shows the SaaS product work we propose. We set out what is included and excluded, along with the assumptions behind the scope, so you have a clear basis for deciding what to fund and what to leave for later.
Beyond the projects we publish, you can read what clients say about working with us. Our Clutch profile reports 4.9/5 overall across 67 reviews, so you can assess the team through client feedback as well as the SaaS cases above.
We build SaaS interfaces, backend services and mobile apps. An existing codebase gives us the technical starting point; for a new product, we choose technologies around its workflows, data and future maintenance.
Changing user permissions can affect database rules and connected workflows, not just screens. We've used the tools below for data, deployment, source control, AI and automation. When development is in scope, we account for those dependencies in the build.
